Farm Tours!

Located in Coventry, CT

We are excited to now offer farm tours! Available dates will be limited to start but we will be adding more as we expand. The farm store is open for shopping during any hours we are open but any tours are by appointment only. Please bear with us as we will be changing the hours, structure and available activities of the tour as we continue to grow and learn ourselves. 

What to expect?

The farm tour will start with a 30 minute guided tour with period afterwards to visit the store, interact with the alpacas and walk the farm at your own pace. Questions are encouraged during the tour where we will go over everything alpaca and opportunity to get hands on with them. We also have chickens and guinea hens here on the farm for those that are interested.

What to wear?

This is an active farm please dress accordingly. Please no sandals or opened toed shoes. We recommend wearing footwear that you don't mind getting dirty. This is a primarily outdoor tour with some walking on level but sometimes uneven ground.

Two types of tour are available:

Farm Tour - This is the regular farm tour recommended for small parties or individuals. We will limit the total number of people to around six per one hour. Time will be given after the guided tour to explore the farm and interact with the animals at your own pace.

Private Farm Tour - This is an extended farm tour for a private party. Additional activities such as halter walks with the alpacas may be available. We request that parties greater than 8 inform us beforehand via the note while booking the appointment. Unfortunately at this time we are not equipped to handle very large groups and reserve the right to refuse any groups over 12 people. We ask that you carpool whenever possible as parking is limited. 

Inclement Weather 

Due to the nature of the farm and tour and being a primarily outdoor tour we reserve the right to cancel due to severe weather ( heavy downpour, lightning or snow/Ice ) 

We will continue to remain open in light or moderate rain but will offer free rescheduling or cancellation of tours if requested.

Parking

We strongly advise carpooling or traveling in as few cars as possible. Parking is limited as we only have space for about 6 cars, parking on the grass may be necessary
